Really very large for a small community museum...it encompasses 3 historic buildings on Main Street. They are only open on weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day, UNLESS you call ahead....and they will bend over backwards to make sure they open it for you if you're in town or coming to town to see It! Make sure and ask about the crazy elephant story!
